SUMMARY: Wind Advisory for wind gusts from 15-25 MPH.

TIMING: From 9:00 PM Friday until Noon Saturday.

AREAS AFFECTED: This particular Advisory is for North Alabama, Coverage Zone 1 and 3.

POTENTIAL HAZARDS: Wind of this magnitude could knock down trees and power lines resulting in isolated power outages. Outdoor objects, furniture, trash cans, and holiday decorations may be damaged.

ACTIONS ADVISED: Secure all loose objects and prepare for power outages.

SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast and northwest
  Alabama and southern middle Tennessee.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to noon CST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects,
  including holiday decorations. Tree limbs could be blown down
  and a few power outages may result.

*PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
Strong to severe storms are possible on Wednesday afternoon through early Thursday morning. The primary threats are gusty to damaging winds and heavy rainfall in these thunderstorms. Be sure to have multiple ways to receive warnings!
