Strong to severe storms will be possible Thursday morning through afternoon. Damaging winds, hail, and a few tornadoes are possible. Currently, the greatest threat area will be along and south of I-20.

In addition to severe weather, flooding will also be a concern. Rainfall totals of 2-3 inches are possible, with isolated higher amounts. A flash flood watch has been issued for Pickens, Tuscaloosa, Bibb, and Chilton counties.

Thursday Severe

Another round of showers and storms is in the forecast for Thursday morning through the afternoon. Timing continues to be a concern, thus a fairly large time frame. Of course this is subject to change but be weather aware.

Flash Flood Watch

In addition to the severe threat, heavy rainfall and flooding may become an issue as well. 2 to 2.5 inches of rainfall will be possible, and a Flash Flood Watch has been issued for western and southwestern counties in Central Alabama Thursday morning through Thursday afternoon.
