Thunderstorms are expected to increase in coverage across north Alabama late this morning into the early afternoon hours. They’re expected to intensify when reaching the I-65 corridor.
Beginning late this morning into early afternoon, with any severe weather threat over by 4:00 pm.
Winds of 50-60mph, hail, frequent lightning in addition to heavy rainfall which could cause runoff and isolated flooding instances.
Mainly areas along and east of Interstate 65, including Madison, Marshall, Jackson, DeKalb counties, and the adjacent southern-middle Tennessee counties of Franklin, Lincoln, and Moore.
SHowers are beginning to develop right along the I-65 corridor across Madison County with a gradual increase in reflectivity strength. These storms should begin to interact with a somewhat favorable environment for thunderstorms within the next couple hours.
