Strong Storms Possible Wednesday Morning
The Storm Prediction Center has highlighted southern portions of north Alabama and a good chunk of central Alabama in a Marginal Risk for strong/severe storms. The risk will be isolated damaging wind gusts with perhaps a quick spin-up tornado or two.
TIMING: Models show storm energy entering the state between 6:00 and 7:00 AM, where showers and thunderstorms will be ongoing:
Ongoing showers will limit thunderstorm potential across north Alabama, although a moist atmosphere and widespread rainfall will leave us with a flood threat across north Alabama.
